founder

Laurie "Chip" was born and raised in Ocala.  A 12th generation Floridian, he has always been concerned with the health of the State and fascinated by its waters.  He has been working on the "spring project" for over 3 years and it finally culminated with the founding of Orange Springs Specialty Water and Beverage Company in early 2012.  Now Chip gets to work with his passion of bringing marketing opportunities to businesses across the Southeast while helping to protect one of Florida's most precious resources.  To learn more about Chip's vision, check out our About Page.

TYLER
facilitator

Born and raised in Ocala, Florida, Tyler graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2007 and went to work for a mid level recycling company.  They were bought out by the big boys and Tyler was inspired by the due diligence work, so he went to law school in 2009.   He graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 2012 and passed the bar in July.  Tyler lives in Jacksonville and helps Orange Springs with the "legal stuff."

Fixer of computers

Paul is a graduate student in the Environmental Engineering program at UCF but he is a whiz at making computers work properly. He is specializing in drinking water treatment and has experience working as a consultant to municipalities and water management districts.  In addition, Paul helps us with accounts in the greater Orlando area.  You might see him out visiting a car dealer or local business, introducing them to the best custom marketing product available.  He also happens to be a whiz with computes so we take advantage of that skill as well! 

DANA 
fund raising accounts and Fashionable WEDDING WATER representative

Dana works part time for us, specializing in fundraising for schools and other institutions with our bottled water. She also handles "Fashionable Wedding Water" orders.  More to come on her...

Jesse
Fabrication and equipment Maintaince

Jesse knows equipment.  He knows how to run it, how to fix it, and how to make it work so that your product gets out on time and is representative of the great quality you have come to expect of OS.  It's crazy how much this guy knows.    If you can't find a part, he'll build it.  When he's not at the plant, you may see him cruising the streets on his Harley.

Filling and production

Mark is the man you can thank for getting your custom label, custom bottle, custom cap, and choice of natural spring or purified water put into one product, packaged, and shipped out to you.  You give Mark a goal, and he gets it done.  We couldn't do it without him.

issac
facilities and foliage

We say facilities, but Issac is more of an all around guy, helping us with whatever is needed at the time.  Rush order?  Issac is helping Mark get it out.  Pallet wrapper down?  Issac is right there next to Jesse. Addtionally, he is helping to make the plant look spick and span inside and out. Since our bottling plant is situated on 80 acres surrounding  the historic spring, Issac takes care of the beautiful natural foliage on the property.

david
faith and environmental

David is an Environmental Engineering Doctoral student at the University of Central Florida.  He specializes in water treatment.  Currently working on large scale, city wide treatment facilities and operations, David lends his vast knowledge of water treatment to our small project. But he also provides us with direction of FAITH. David sets the example and raises the bar for all of us to become more faithfull followers of HIS path.

glenda
Finance and Administration

Glenda the Good Witch!  Pardon the Wizard of Oz reference but Glenda wears many hats for us and she is so powerful!   She’s the person responsible for crunching those numbers and keeping our books together to make sure we get bills paid on time. She also takes care of that other little thing called payroll!  Glenda will even put on some gloves and work on the bottling line.  Oh yeah, she also answers the phone for us, so make sure you say hi if she picks up. AND: she helps customize your label.  So much, I dont know how she finds time.

george
Factory and operations

George has been in the manufacturing business for many years.  He has worked on small lines to larger production lines, from simple operations to fully integrated plants.  He helps Orange Springs put out the best quality spring and purified water you've ever tasted.  And that's with your own label, in record time, at great prices.  To see what George has done through pictures, check out our Photos/Videos Page. 

TATUM
fun fads and social media

Who better to head up the web updates and social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram than a young college girl who has them all at the tip of her thumb.  Oh, and don't forget Pinterest.  Tatum works for OS part time while attending college at UCF-Go Knights!-and keeps you updated on all the exciting things happening within the business.  Check out her handywork on our Connect Page.
